This Friday Is 1st Friday - Don't Miss Out On The "Monster Of Minneapolis" - STUN - With His 1st KC Showing - Be There This Friday!!!

THIS FRIDAY IS 1ST FRIDAY!!!!

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota Stun started drawing when he was only five years old, and by keeping with it into High School, drew cartoons for various school organizations. In 1993, he moved to St. Louis and got an excellent gig in the heart of downtown at “Gus’s Fashions”

Working for Gus painting custom wearable apparel, cars, walls, and backdrops for performing artists. His talent led to doing artwork for such celebrities as: Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Jon “B”, Brian McKnight, Salt-n-Pepa, 2 Live Crew, Brand Nubian, Fuschnickens, and Common Sense. Was also commissioned to do commercial artwork for Camel Cigarettes, and various Coca-Cola “IYDKYDG” advertisements in St. Louis and New Orleans. His art was also in numerous clubs in St. Louis including the then Cheetah Club, and club Liquid. Aside from the commercial work he was doing, he was also involved heavily in the graffiti world. Creating the floodwall project, which later become now known as “Paint Louis”. Which became an annual event that drew hundreds of graffiti writers from all over the country.
In June of 2000, he was attacked in an alley in St. Louis on the way home from a club, and was struck in the head and nearly died. Going in to a coma and once he was able to get his motor skills back to par went right back to painting. Family moved him back to Minnesota where he could continue to recover and is where he lives today.
Since 2001, he has been steadily getting back in the game, and has been learning how to digitize work, painting canvases, airbrushing, and painting more graffiti pieces every chance he gets.
