Laedan Galicia aka DinKC

Growing up as a Mexican-American in Kansas City, Laedan Galicia, aka DINKC, became exposed to a myriad of street art, his two cultures, and an appreciation for skull related Dia de los Muertos knick-knacks. This led to the early combination of intricately detailed line work, bold color, and various textures, which later manifested in the development of his artistic style. In late 2012 Laedan founded DINKC Studios; an acronym standing for Designing Illustration ’N Kansas City. This creative studio powered by illustrative design and a deathly obsession with skulls immediately drove his passion to new heights through the exploration of both fine and commercial art. Influenced by Mexican street market tradition of turning art into thought provoking commercial items, Laedan strived to merge his artwork and merchandise together to form the DINKC brand.
